How To Change Your Font For Writing
Step 1
Start a new project in Cricut Design Space and select the text option. Type using the keyboard to insert your text.
Step 2
Select the text. In the top edit bar change the ‘Style’ drop-down to ‘Writing’. This changes the text to single-lined font!
Choosing Fonts That have Writing As An Option
You can filter fonts in Cricut Design Space based on whether it has a ‘Writing’ style option.
To do this, head to the fonts in the top edit bar. Select ‘Filter’ then tick ‘Writing.’ This will then show all fonts with the writing style capability. This is great for writing tags, envelopes, labels and more!
Cricut Ideas That Use The Writing Function
There are a number of projects in Design Space that utilise the writing function and create beautiful projects. Find projects by heading to the projects tab and then use the search bar for project ideas.
Home organisation is a popular way to personalise with Cricut and using the writing function is great for making labels for your jars.
Cards and tags are another effective way to use this feature. You could even personalise the envelope and write the inside of your card with the writing function!
