Zooey Deschanel’s tips for the ultimate Valentine’s Day

Love is in the air! I don’t know about you, but I absolutely adore Valentine’s Day for the pretty, romantic outfits, delicious treats, and of course, the crafting! This year, my Cricut Explore 3 and I are teaming up to create the ultimate Valentine’s Day projects.

Make your home POP!

I love these heart balloons. I made them really pop by adding fun phrases with white vinyl! I used a decorative weight to keep them down, and placed these balloons around the house to make every corner feel festive.

Create a camera-worthy moment

Photo-ops make holidays extra fun! I used my Cricut machine to cut out colorful foam hearts, and decorated an empty wall. Fun for kiddos and moms alike!

Sweets please!

Snacks are paramount for every holiday moment. This Valentine’s Day, I want to have a cookie-decorating station at home. First, I cut out cardstock stencils with my Cricut Explore 3. Then, I set up a tray of plain sugar cookies; bowls of colorful frosting; a variety of candies, sprinkles, and sugar so I can decorate a cookie to my heart’s content!

Make it personal

I customized an apron for myself using Cricut Iron-On Vinyl and my trusty EasyPress. It’ll come in handy if I get messy with the cookie decorating!
